The fashion house has released its SS2020 campaign and well, it’s as surreal as it gets.
Since the beginning of Alessandro Michele’s tenure at Gucci, the house’s campaigns have been really eclectic: from 7th century BC Greek style through Disneyland to outer space we saw plenty of striking and creative photoshoots from Gucci. Now the worldwide known fashion label asked filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos (mostly known for his delirious and surreal movies The Lobster and The Favourite) to give his take on Gucci’s spring-summer campaign for 2020. The director and photographer did not disappoint: horses wander along Los Angeles’ boulevards, go to carwash, buy some groceries, swim in hotel pools or hang out at diners and at the beach. Take a horsebit look at the campaign!
